Dana 19.05.2022. godine, Internet društvo u Bosni i Hercegovini se pridružilo obilježavanju Globalnog dana podizanja svijesti o pristupačnosti sa fokusom na digitalnu pristupačnost (GAAD- Global Awareness Accessibility Day), koji se obilježava svake godine, trećeg četvrtka u mjesecu maju, na globalnom nivou (https://accessibility.day/ ).

Ovom prilikom, Internet društvo u Bosni i Hercegovini je organizovalo panel u Sarajevu, na kojem se razgovaralo o značaju i ulozi informaciono komunikacionih tehnologija u obrazovanju, stvaranju poslovnih mogućnosti i generalno o ostvarivanju prava osoba sa invaliditetom.

Tom prilikom je izvršena dodjela certifikata za uspješno provedenu obuku za rad na računaru za slijepa lica, učesnicima koji su došli iz Banja Luke, Tuzle, Goražda, Čapljine, Breze i Vogošće. Ova obuka za rad na računaru za slijepa lica, provodi se u sklopu projekta “Jačanje Interneta bez ograničenja za slijepe osobe” koji finansira Internet Society Foundation. Obuka je individualna i prilagođena je potrebama svakog kandidata, a provodi je slijepa osoba.


Celebrating Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) - The Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a panel discussion in Sarajevo

On 19.05.2022. Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina joined the celebration of the Global Accessibility Awareness Day with a focus on digital accessibility (GAAD - Global Awareness Accessibility Day), which is celebrated every year, on the third Thursday in May, globally (https://accessibility.day/ ).

On this occasion, the Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a panel in Sarajevo, which discussed the importance and role of information and communication technologies in education, creating business opportunities, and generally exercise the rights of persons with disabilities.

On that occasion, a certificate for successful computer training for the blind persons was awarded to participants who came from Banja Luka, Tuzla, Goražde, Čapljina, Breza, and Vogošća. This computer training for the blind is conducted as part of the project "Strengthening the Internet without restrictions for the blind" funded by the Internet Society Foundation.

The training is individual and tailored to the needs of each candidate and is conducted by a blind person.

Internet je opšte dobro i namijenjen je za sve ljude.
