Members of the Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the ceremonial celebration of 30 years of University Tele-Informatics Center (UTIC)’s work, which was held on December 21, 2025.
This significant anniversary was organized with the aim of recalling the key moments in the development of digital infrastructure and the application of the Internet in higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A special part of the program was the premiere of the short documentary film “Internet.ba”, which focuses on the historical moment of connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Internet and its symbolic and real opening to the world.
The celebration of this anniversary and the screening of the film “Internet.ba” once again confirmed the importance of the Internet as a key infrastructure for the development of knowledge and connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina to the global digital community.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to all individuals who, in impossible conditions during the war in our country, contributed to connecting our country to the Internet.
