The Association Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with the Association of visually impaired citizens of Tuzla within the implementation of the project “Internet as a tool for amplifying the weak and silent voices of persons with disabilities” plans to train thirteen blind people from all over the country.
The project includes training for ten selected candidates in the basics of Internet journalism, which includes the basics of production and posting content on the Internet, organized by the Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as training for three candidates in the basics of computer work, organized by the Association of visually impaired citizens of Tuzla.
In addition to the training, which would be tailored to each individual candidate and held in the candidate’s place of residence (in the candidate’s home or in the premises of the parent association), all selected candidates will receive laptops for training and permanent use.
In this regard, the Association of Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina sent an invitation to associations of blind and partially sighted persons to submit a list of interested candidates in order to select candidates for the project.
This project promotes the Internet as a resource for enriching people’s lives and a force for good in society with the support of the Internet Society Foundation.
