The training of the ninth candidate was held in Mostar within the current project

Azer Ćatović, a blind student from Mostar, was selected as the ninth participant of the training in Internet journalism, which is being implemented within the current project.
The training was held from 08.01. until 12.01.2024. in Azer’s family house in Mostar. On that occasion, Azer received a laptop and accompanying equipment for training purposes and permanent use.
At the beginning of the training, Azer, together with the trainer, Mr. Hamda Kentra, prepared his YouTube channel for live videos streaming.
Thanks to the training, Azer is able to record, edit and publish video content on his YouTube channel. He is also trained to record the computer screen via Xbox as well as other programs that Azer needs to use at faculty. On the last day of training, Azer recorded, edited and published his first video on his YouTube channel.
Azer, in the coming period, has the task of making and publishing a video for the project. In this regard, Azer will have the opportunity to share his skills with the audience.
The project “Internet as a tool for empowering the weak and silent voices of people with disabilities” is led by the Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it is financed by the Internet Society Foundation.
