The eighth candidate for training within the project “Enhancing the barrier-free Internet through the blind people empowerment” was Tima Halilović from Tuzla. The training, which started on August 4th, 2022. was led by Tifa Tučić. Tifa is one of the candidates who were chosen as a lecturer. The training with Tima finished after 50 hours of education and was successfully completed on September/26/2022.
The training included the following thematic units: introduction to the basic elements of a computer, introduction to OS Windows, working with the keyboard, using shortcuts, organizing files and folders, writing text in Notepad, using a speech program, using the Google Chrome browser, voice search, working with the YouTube program, creating and opening e-mails.
Before the start of the training, Tima, like the other candidates, was handed a laptop that she used during the training itself, and which remains in her permanent possession to be her window to the world in a way that also enables blind people to better integrate into today’s society increasingly based on the Internet and information exchange.
