Martina Stanić from Čapljina, who is studying in Mostar, is the fifth participant in the training for the blind within the project “Enhancing the barrier-free Internet through the blind people empowerment”. The training was held on the premises of the Association of the Blind of the Herzegovina-Neretva County in Mostar, in the period 21.02.2022 – 25.02.2022.

Martina has shown great interest in the topic of the training program for a computer trainer, and through serious work, she has acquired the required skills and knowledge.

We are happy again that through the project implemented by our association we had the opportunity to meet a person who inspires us with her positive attitude towards life, and we are very pleased with her high motivation and desire to acquire new knowledge.

Standard topics in the first part of the training are: learning Windows and voice commands, working with the keyboard, organizing folders and files, shortcuts, writing in Notepad, using the Google Chrome browser, working with YouTube and voice search, creating e-mail, search, and open incoming messages. In addition to this, Martina has undergone a certain level of training for installing and using MS Office packages, as well as working with Word and Excel.
